We humans are born to love and be loved, but often too afraid. We’ve been wounded, deceived, abandoned, misjudged, under attack, left out, and our love story has turned into an addictive ghost story. The ghosts of past losses and pain haunt and warn us to hedge our bets and put up a shield to protect ourselves from further loss and rejection.
